Township reports $1M+ grant for Rittenhouse Force Main; project moves to design and permitting

Officials reported that the Rittenhouse Force Main project has received more than $1.0 million in grant funding. Jason Bobst noted the award in his grants summary and Mr. Figaniak reiterated funding in the Sanitary report, saying the next steps are final design, permitting and putting the project out to bid.
No contract awards for design or construction were recorded at the May 12 meeting; staff indicated the project will proceed through design and permit stages before bidding. The Sanitary report and the grant notation were entered into the record as part of departmental reports.
