Residents raised concerns about the proposed development during the public-comment period. Online commenter Maria Capaldi questioned the need for additional housing given West Norriton's higher population density and asked what impacts the development would have on the school district, public safety services and flood response. Rosemary Guehrlein urged the zoning board to make thoughtful decisions and said the board "hear[s] the residents," reiterating that "nothing has been decided." Several commenters from Centre Avenue Condominiums reported ongoing safety and lighting problems in their complex; Roseanne Melut said, "It's a mess up there."
