The council approved consent resolutions authorizing purchases under cooperative purchasing agreements for municipal needs.
Resolution #244-26 authorizes purchases in excess of the bid threshold from Z & Z Supply Merger Sub, LLC dba Johnstone Supply for HVAC parts and supplies using the Bergen County Cooperative Purchasing Alliance contract; the minutes state the Chief Financial Officer certified funds in two budget accounts for 2026. Resolution #245-26 authorizes the purchase and installation of a custom fabricated double-sided sign with an electronic message center at Fardale Avenue and Smokehouse Lane from KC Sign and Awnings, not to exceed $46,015, using the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey cooperative pricing system; funds were certified from the township capital account.
Both resolutions were part of the consent agenda (Resolutions #243-26 to #246-26) and were adopted as recorded in the meeting minutes. The clerk's certification language directs that copies of the resolutions be kept on file and forwarded to the Business Administrator, QPA, CFO, DPW Director and the vendors.
