"We cut 30 shrubs," the representative said, explaining the trees had been planted decades earlier and were uprooting or failing. The commission confirmed the respondent stopped further work after receiving the enforcement notice, accepted a replacement‑in‑kind plan and asked the property owner to send photos when restoration is complete; the commission said it may do a drive‑by to confirm and will remove the enforcement order after verification.
The commission noted the owner still had seven stumps on site that they plan to remove and that active planting will wait until site conditions and staffing permit; the commission accepted the remediation plan and instructed the owner to submit photographic evidence when replacement work is done.
