Willow Springs council votes to close city pool and waterpark for the summer

Council members discussed the possibility of opening only the waterpark, public and worker safety concerns, training expenses and wage costs before taking a vote. Alderman Bryan Hogan moved to close the pool and waterpark for the summer; Alderman Mike Tooley seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
