Willow Springs accepts April 7 election results; two aldermen sworn in

City Clerk Heather Tooley presented certified results from the April 7, 2026 municipal election, reporting that Andy Roberts received 97 votes for Alderman Ward I and Jennifer Owens received 52 votes for Alderman Ward II. The ballot question on the April 7 ballot passed, 117–53. The council voted to accept the Howell County Board of Verification’s certified results, and the motion carried 4-0.
After the vote, Tooley administered the oath of office to Andy Roberts (Alderman Ward I) and to Jennifer Owens (Alderman Ward II), who then took their seats for the remainder of the meeting. The certified-results acceptance and swearing-in were completed early in the April 21 council meeting at City Hall.
