Commissioners and staff discussed whether the number of citations reflected better driving or changes in enforcement coverage; the presenter said staffing and overtime availability can change where enforcement is deployed. Staff committed to evaluate the visibility of a specific stop sign at the Eastfield/Open Brand location — including possible sign relocation and replacing faded advance signage — and to return to the commission with recommendations in September.
