An application (SPM26-07) by DECS to install a 30,000-pound-rated boat lift at an Atlantic Straits Investments LLC marina slip was withdrawn at the March 25 meeting after no representative appeared. Zoning Official Josh Nichols told the board the application had been waived by the DRC chair but that he still had questions about the proposal; without a representative present the applicant withdrew the request and no motion was necessary.
The board recorded that no public comment was offered on the item before the application was withdrawn. There was no vote recorded on this application and no conditions were placed because the matter was not considered substantively in the board's presence.
