Borough schedules zoning public hearing, backs PennDOT grant for Route 6 corridor

Borough Manager Cindy Wells told the council the next council meeting will be Monday, Sept. 16, 2024 at 6:30 P.M., and that a public hearing is scheduled for an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance; the hearing will be advertised twice as required. Wells also said council will vote on an amendment to the Parking Ordinance that will be advertised as required.
Wells said the borough will send a letter of support for a PennDOT Charging & Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant application along the US Route 6 corridor. She also listed several upcoming items on the calendar, including a Sept. 25 meeting to present health insurance plans to council members and free Community Emergency Response Team training Sept. 27–29.
Council did not take formal action on the grant support during the minutes beyond Wells' statement that a letter of support is being sent.
