Deputy Commissioner for Budget and Planning Tyler Trevor and UM Vice President of Operations and Finance Paul Lasiter presented the request and reviewed how student fee revenue is allocated.
ASUM President Buddy Wilson described how fee revenue is used and the level of student support for the increases. Regent Carter Jasper thanked the attending ASUM senators for their advocacy, said he supported the $10 general fee but opposed the transportation fee increase, and registered the lone dissent when the motion (ITEM 224-1011-R0526) passed 6-1. The Board did not amend the request; the motion was made by Regent Bough and recorded as approved.
