Henry Hess, representing the applicant, led a site visit where stakes were placed to mark the proposed center line of a loop road and locations for stormwater management features. "The stakes give you an idea of roughly where that loop is," Hess said, inviting board members to walk the route from Bruce Hill Road. He noted the entrance aligns with a stake visible from Bruce Hill and that the red markers indicate the center line of the road.
Hess said the staking was done with GPS units and is "plus or minus a couple feet" rather than a surveyed grade, and that the design intends to leave an existing driveway undisturbed. Bridget, who led the walk, pointed out wetlands at the rear corner and at a front corner of the parcel that are outside most of the proposed building envelopes. The applicants said two stakes mark either end of a proposed stormwater pond and that the pond area will be treated separately from open-space acreage calculations. The group then reconvened for the Planning Board meeting at 7:00 p.m.
