Matt (speaker 7) reported progress on cemetery improvements: 144 yards of gravel were delivered and spread, volunteers graded and touched up lanes, and a kiosk was completed and installed at the entrance of the new cemetery section. He said the committee is preparing postings, a short historical overview, plot-purchase instructions and a list of interested buyers.
Chair announced the committee's historical-cemetery grant application to OPRD was approved for $4,800 to pay for fencing and preservation needs. Matt said volunteers have also been collecting donations and tracking small monthly contributions to support ongoing work. The committee will meet with public-works staff (Jeff and Alex) to coordinate grading and training before offering plots for sale.
