The Humboldt Planning and Zoning Board voted unanimously March 28 to recommend approval of a Conditional Use Permit allowing St. Ann's Cemetery to operate in an R-Residential zoning district. Chairman Dave Froke moved the recommendation and Kristi Gambs seconded; roll call recorded five aye votes and the motion carried.
The board held a public hearing on the permit application during its regular session at the Humboldt Community Center. By forwarding a recommendation, the board has sent the matter to the City Board for final action. The minutes record no dissenting votes or conditions attached to the recommendation.
