City water staff: tanks recovered, burn pile closed and residents asked to curb watering

Tallman said: "I'm Alex Tallman. I work for the city of Sumpter in water and sewer... We have recovered. Our tanks set on that hill have recovered fully... We have a 6 inch pipeline coming from our water intake at Macaulay, and it's only 6 inches all the way down to our treatment plant." He also announced the burn pile is closed "until further notice" and that emergency water resources (a barrel at Macaulay providing roughly 100 gallons a minute) are available for operational use.
