The Humboldt Planning and Zoning Board on Aug. 28 accepted the resignation of member Brady Gaddis, effective Sept. 1, 2023, and voted to recommend two candidates to fill board vacancies. The actions were approved unanimously during a meeting at the Humboldt Community Center.
On motions recorded in the minutes, Chairman Dave Froke moved to accept Gaddis’s resignation and thanked him for his service. Later in new business, the board voted to recommend that the City Board appoint Brad Gibbens and Mike Lias to the planning and zoning board; both recommendations passed on unanimous roll‑call votes. The board also set its next regular meeting for Sept. 18, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
