Austintown trustees declare multiple properties public nuisances and set abatement rules

The resolution directs property owners to abate the listed nuisances within seven days of the resolution (four days for repeat violations within 12 months). If owners fail to act, the township will perform abatement and charge the property owner for expenses with a minimum $500 entry on the tax duplicate as a lien. The motion passed with recorded yes votes from Trustees Deavers and Shepas. The minutes list each parcel with parcel numbers and street addresses as part of the public record.
