At 11:30 a.m. on March 18 the Prairie County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 26-21, cancelling the June 4, 2026 primary for certain county officers and moving those offices to the general election ballot.
Later that morning Commissioner Devlin read Resolution 26-22 and the board voted to appoint Dwight Tague as Prairie County Fire Warden; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously ('all in favor'). The motions were recorded in the meeting minutes as adopted without recorded dissent.
