Sally Brown reported that Inliner Solutions completed a sanitary sewer lining under a railroad crossing last week and that crews have been assisting with sewer issues at the fairgrounds. "They did it last week on Wednesday... and it was a successful repair," she said.
Krista told the board the redevelopment commission will meet Aug. 18 to hear presentations on Scott Park and the pool project and that a tax‑impact presentation regarding TIF districts will be provided by Jeff Peters; she also said a public survey for a downtown parking study will be released soon and invited board members to review a draft. Public works staff additionally said crews will begin striping Commerce Parkway and Commerce Drive and commence concrete repairs on Paris Drive next week.
Separately, a staff member outlined upcoming amphitheater events including a July 25 film screening, a July 31 car cruise, and an Aug. 7 back‑to‑school event. Board members thanked staff for their work on park improvements and related parking controls.
