Residents raise Madison Days needs, building-permit questions and electric-fence concern

A resident identified as Dustin requested a building permit to construct a chicken coop on pavers and raised a question about a truck violation; Paul Dean advised that if the vehicle is drivable, properly tagged and insured it can be brought to city hall to demonstrate it is legal.
Payton asked whether electric fencing is regulated inside the city; Paul Dean stated the city currently has no ordinance that directly addresses electric fences within the city limits and asked to be kept informed so the council can make a decision if necessary.
