Council recognizes visiting Boy Scouts; scout cites citizenship work and public speaking

The council welcomed a visiting group of Boy Scouts and invited the scouts to state their names and explain why they were attending. Matthew Seedorf introduced himself and said he attends Kesseling and is working on his 1st class rank. "I like it because you can it teaches you stuff about life and what it's gonna be like when you get... when you grow up," Seedorf told the council.
Council members thanked the scout and his parents for attending and encouraged continued participation in citizenship and community activities. The councilbooked the recognition as an informal civic engagement moment; no action was required.
