Residents urge consideration of municipal authority and raise local drainage concerns

Toni Cregan described continuing pooling of water in front of her house and asked whether the borough had considered forming a Municipal Authority for the sewage plant, saying 'There is so much more access to funding if the Sewer was an Authority rather than selling it to a private company.'

Council did not make an immediate policy decision on either point but scheduled a Town Hall on March 17 to discuss the possible sale of the sewage plant, providing an opportunity for extended public input and staff presentations.
