Council to consider appointments to boards, commissions and an LA Metro seat

Mayor Tamela Takahashi said the first item on the council agenda will be appointments to fill vacancies on various boards, commissions and committees. "1st, council will make appointments to fill vacancies on various boards, commissions, and committees," she said.
Takahashi also said the council will appoint a member of the city council to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority San Fernando Valley Service Council, a regional advisory body. The Mayor's Minute did not identify which councilmember is proposed for the appointment or whether the appointment would be made that evening.
City staff reports and the full agenda, which may list nominees or procedures for appointment, are posted on the city's website, the mayor said.
