Menasha approves intergovernmental agreement to meet eligibility for state recycling consolidation grant

Director Merton told the board this is an annual step that "basically allows us to work with Winnebago County and other municipalities to pool jointly on some recycling initiatives, such as, like, the waste wizard tool." He said the agreement helps the city meet recycling education requirements by sharing services with Winnebago County and Tri County Recycling. Deputy Clerk Janet recorded the motion as carrying 7-0.
The board did not debate substantive changes to the resolution during this meeting; the action was presented as routine authorization to participate in regional recycling efforts and pursue grant eligibility.
