A committee member urged the group to consider environmental health as part of its remit and offered to invite the county program manager to explain what environmental services cover—particularly water and stormwater issues and how the city handles resident complaints.
Members said many nuisance and environmental complaints can be complex and prolonged; the committee agreed an informational overview of environmental services and the water treatment staff would be useful before moving to any specific interventions. “Even just that kind of overview… gives us a little more information,” one member said.
