Library used $10,000 ALA grant for accessibility upgrades and adaptable art supplies

"With that money, it was $10,000. With that, we updated our handicap access door, bathroom door locks," the director said. She also described adaptable art supplies chosen after a focus group with Sunshine Industries to enable low-mess art activities for users who prefer not to get their hands dirty. The director said both adults and kids are using the supplies and that the Friends of the Library helped support related events.
