Mayor Coleman suggested the council consider creating a business registry or scheduling a work session to address permitting and reduce confusion after the DanBot/Dadbot compliance discussions. "I think that part of, Dadbot detailing's, concerns, or confusion may have been cleared up if we had a business registry," Coleman said, and asked whether the council would like it added to a future agenda. Councilors signaled interest and the mayor said there was a consensus to bring the item forward.
Council members also agreed that a work session could help staff and elected officials discuss what a registry would include and how it might clarify responsibilities for businesses and the city. A follow-up staff report or work session was indicated as the next procedural step; no formal motion or ordinance was passed at the meeting.
