Parks & Recreation Director Angela told the Board she received two quotes for budgeted recreation software and a point-of-sale system: Rec Desk for $5,800 and CivicPlus for $6,713. "All Park & Recreation programs are stand alone," Angela said, describing how local users manage registrations.
Alderman Lahmeyer moved and Alderman Bohl seconded acceptance of the Rec Desk quote at $5,800. The motion carried without dissent. Angela said she had consulted peer jurisdictions that use Rec Desk and related systems and that staff time spent entering data is modest. The system will be implemented by Parks staff and the city will coordinate training and setup details.
