The Board of Aldermen voted unanimously on Oct. 6 to adopt Bill No. 2025-25 as Ordinance No. 1488, authorizing the mayor to execute a lease agreement with Rath LLC for use of Elm Street. The bill was given a second reading after a motion by Alderman Lahmeyer; Alderman Kramme moved final passage.
Mayor Kevin McFadden asked, "Shall Bill No 2025-25 become Ordinance No 1488?" The recorded roll call votes were aye from Aldermen Kramme, Lahmeyer, Bohl and Breeden; the ordinance passed and was recorded as Ordinance No. 1488. The attorney had explained the bill's provisions to the board prior to the vote.
