Chair Alderman Smith Brown said she and Alderman Savage are working to merge parallel proposals and would provide the committee with the consolidated amendment once it is drafted. "We are going to ask if this is postponed to our next meetings for us to make an official recommendation," the chair said, asking members for time to complete drafting.
A member moved to postpone and the motion carried by voice vote with no recorded objections. The committee directed staff to circulate the consolidated amendment in advance of the next meeting so members can review details prior to reconsideration.
