Mayor Chamberlain and staff discussed replacing multiple accounting tools with Caselle to streamline invoicing, reduce duplicate staffing and save an estimated $9,892 annually by removing Invoice Cloud. Town staff explained Caselle would allow internal consolidation of billing and reduce the need to pay outside accounting services.
Paul Cox moved to switch the town’s accounting from QuickBooks to Caselle; Raliegh Franklin seconded. The board voted unanimously to approve the transition. Staff said the change would also allow the town to add customer billing functions in-house and reduce recurring contracting costs.
