City Clerk Alice Grimm asked the council whether to have Megawatts inspect the pool pump this year or to defer the check until next year. Councilmember Paul Dean replied that he thought the pump inspection should be completed now, and the minutes record his view that the city "needs to get it done." No formal vote was recorded in the minutes; the clerk was left with direction to proceed.
The clerk also asked whether city-issued city bucks could be used for camping and whether an expiration date should be imposed. Council members agreed that city bucks could be used for camping but declined to set an expiration date on them. The minutes state the council said yes to camping use and no to an expiration date.
