Town updates: Santa run Dec. 7, new ambulance in striping, electric added on PA Avenue

EMS Supervisor Nathan Rohrbough reported the annual Santa run is scheduled for Dec. 7 and will cover Nutter Fort, Rosebud and Route 20 to the Barbour County line. Rohrbough also said the town's new ambulance is at Scotts for striping and will be stocked and inspected by the state before entering service; he said putting the new unit into service should reduce repair costs for older ambulances.
Public Works Supervisor Travis Yost told the council the gas company bored in service while making repairs and resurfacing PA Avenue, enabling electric service on both sides of PA Avenue for future events. No engineer or code-enforcement reports were given at the meeting.
