The Town of Nutter Fort held a public hearing and second reading for Ordinance 2025-04, which amends the schedule of rates and charges for the town's water distribution system. Town staff explained that the second reading was required because of a clerical error in the ordinance's prior publication and that the action did not introduce a new fee.
No members of the public spoke during the hearing. Councilor Charlene Louk moved to accept Ordinance 2025-04; Councilor Karen Phillips seconded. A roll-call vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously (one councilor, Sam Maxson, was recorded absent). The ordinance was adopted at the meeting on Jan. 27, 2026.
