Terry TV board asks to be returned to tax rolls; county attorney recommends public hearing

Doug Rein, speaking for the Terry TV board, told the Prairie County commissioners that equipment upgrades to broaden reception to eight channels have depleted the board's funds and that the board would like to be placed back on the tax rolls to raise revenue. Rein said recent upgrades have exhausted reserves and asked the board to consider restoring taxing authority.
County Attorney Dan Rice responded that the proper next step would be a public hearing on returning the TV board to the tax rolls. The commissioners did not set a public hearing date during the April 1 meeting; Rice's recommendation was recorded for follow-up.
