Commission confirms Yard Goats trips, UConn ticket sellouts and sets Egg Hunt date

The Recreation Commission heard updates on several upcoming events. Ellison said deposits are in for Yard Goats trips on June 13 and Aug. 16 and that a flyer will be distributed.
Director Adam Bunce shared the Egg Hunt flyer and set the event for March 28 at noon; the commission decided on 100 treat bags. Ms. Camardi said she will bring the bags but will not attend the event and Bunce requested volunteers to help with set-up and egg placement. The commission also noted newsletter items will include softball and Yard Goats save-the-dates.
These community events rely on volunteer support and advance registration; commissioners flagged logistics such as bag stuffing and volunteer assignments for follow-up.
