City manager outlines clerical fix, volunteer sign-up, and event planning updates

City Manager Rich Haydn briefed council on several administrative items, including a clerical duplication of resolution numbering that was corrected by a separate resolution to preserve transparency. "Because this was strictly a scrivener's error and that no content in the resolution itself is being changed, there is no concern that the resolution adopting the budget did not meet any legal requirements," he said.
Haydn also said finance staff asked for time to implement payroll adjustments before the end-of-month payroll and that a volunteer sign-up sheet for Art Oysters and Brew will be circulated to council via email. He reported that event planning for the festival is progressing well, with more vendors signed up than at last year's event and specific volunteer assignments (including beer-garden monitoring) under development.
