The Toledo City Council voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 16-09 declaring the city's election to receive state-shared revenues for FY 2026–27 and certifying compliance with Oregon Revised Statute 475C for marijuana sales inside city limits. City Manager Hebner told council the state-shared revenues (which include marijuana, cigarette and alcohol tax shares) are already accounted for in the operating budget that council adopted earlier in the meeting.
Hebner added staff had verified that the city currently has one licensed marijuana retailer that meets the statutory distance and other criteria. Councilors moved and approved the resolution on a 6–0 roll-call vote.
