Council to trial chip-seal on Warren Street, continues push on Congress Street sidewalks

"We're only gonna do Warren Street... and that parking area with this chip sealing to get a look at it," a council member said, adding the approach could cut time and reduce cost compared with standard asphalt.
Council members also discussed ADA corner upgrades, replacement of damaged sidewalks, and a persistent drainage problem at Black Cat/Creekside. Town staff said they are coordinating with DOH engineers and a public service district camera inspection to determine whether the sidewalk or utility repairs fall to the state or the town. Members said a trial will be evaluated before expanding the technique to other streets.
