Council discusses train depot redevelopment and event parking implications

Council members reported the train depot lot is moving toward procurement and warned that active construction and phased redevelopment could reduce available event parking. "Because, hopefully, soon, the lot will not have some of this... there may be very little parking there at all," a council member said, urging coordination with project manager Dustin and TBS.
Council discussed pending plumbing and drainage work at the depot and noted an original historic door will require an expensive repair. Staff said they will track the bidding negotiation and provide updates after an upcoming Zoom meeting to finalize negotiations with selected bidders.
