The council presented a municipal proclamation recognizing the Foxglove Garden Club's 50th anniversary and thanked members for decades of volunteer beautification work. "Whereas the Foxglove Garden Club was founded 50 years ago with a shared commitment to horticulture, civic beauty, environmental stewardship, and community service," the proclamation read.
Mary Alco, who identified herself in the meeting and thanked the council, described the club's continuing work maintaining the Earth Garden by the train station, urns around town and raised beds along Washington Street. A club leader (functional label: President) recounted founding members from 1975 and said volunteers would continue coordinating with the town on plantings and care.
