Macy Campadilli of the Tennessee School Boards Association presented the superintendent evaluation results the board had received in advance: "The overall evaluation score was 4.53," she told members, describing appendix breakdowns and verbatim comments from administrators.
Campadilli said the administrator survey averaged 4.75 and the board observational data averaged 4.49 across categories including board relationships (4.24), community relationships (4.64), staff and personnel (4.53), facilities/finance (4.60) and student achievement (4.59). Appendix C (board goals/strategic-plan achievement) produced an average of 4.47.
Board members and community speakers praised those results as evidence of steady district performance. Several trustees emphasized student-achievement gains cited later in the agenda, and one trustee read a prepared comment expressing concern that contract-extension discussions for the director had grown politically charged. Director of Schools acknowledged the feedback and thanked the board for the support.
The presentation closed with a reminder that verbatim comments and supporting graphs are included in the distributed packet; members asked no motions specific to the evaluation at this meeting.
