Danville Rec confirms co-chairs Erin and Jess; Alyson granted voting rights
Summary
The Recreation Committee retained Erin and Jessica (Jess) as co-chairs by motion; Alyson was formally granted voting rights at the meeting and abstained on approval of the April minutes because she was not present at that earlier meeting.
At the May 20 meeting, the Recreation Committee confirmed current leadership and adjusted membership privileges. Vanessa moved to keep the leadership the same, naming Erin and Jess as co-chairs; Sonia seconded the motion and it passed with all in favor. The minutes record that Alyson was granted voting rights at this meeting; because she had not attended the April meeting she abstained from the April-minutes vote.
Other procedural items included acceptance of the April meeting minutes (motion by Vanessa; second by Sonia) and the treasurer’s report presented by Kathy for review. The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.; the next meeting is scheduled for June 17, 2026 at 7 p.m. Notes for the meeting were completed by Jessica Beaudoin, co-chair and acting secretary.
