Board adopts meeting schedule for FY2025/2026 and re-approves updated mutual aid agreement
Summary
On unanimous votes, the Heritage Pines CDD adopted Resolution 2025-04 setting regular meeting dates for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 and adopted Resolution 2025-05 approving updates to the Florida Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement; both were presented and read by Chair Kathleen Lonergan.
At the April meeting the board adopted two additional resolutions. Ms. Lonergan presented and read Resolution 2025-04, which designates dates, times and locations for regular Board meetings for Fiscal Year 2025/2026. The resolution was adopted on a motion by Mr. Putman, seconded by Mr. Walsh, "with all in favor."
Ms. Lonergan then presented Resolution 2025-05 approving updates to the Florida Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement. District Manager Chuck Adams explained the updates and said the district is more likely to be the recipient of aid than a provider; the board unanimously adopted the resolution on a motion by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Ms. Vaughan. Both resolutions take effect immediately on adoption and require standard transmittal and filing steps.
