Board approves $600 stump‑grind by A‑Z Tree Service after resident safety concerns

On motion by Supervisor Michael Walsh and seconded by Supervisor Stephen Putman, “with all in favor, the A‑Z Tree Service, LLC estimate to Remove with Stump Grind Behind 11453 Heritage Point Drive, in the amount of $600, was approved.”
The board did not at this meeting approve the larger forestry mulching estimate; members discussed differences between A‑Z’s forestry mulching approach and Environmental Solutions’ hand‑work method, with staff noting A‑Z uses a forestry mulcher that grinds everything while ES uses more selective handwork and herbicide.
