The vendor listing attached to the packet indicated a price of about $5,659–$5,700 for a 7x16 Interstate Patriot V-nose cargo trailer. By motion (Esq. Travis, second by Esq. Pharris) the court ordered the purchase of the trailer for $5,700; the vote passed with all members voting "aye" except Esq. Eldridge who voted "nay." The minutes record the county will use the trailer for EMA equipment transport.
What happens next: EMA will complete the purchase and arrange placement and inventory of the state-provided equipment; county staff will record the capital purchase in equipment inventory and the county’s capital assets ledger.
