Council approves $150,000 bituminous appropriation and moves $74,805.77 to cover Adult Protective Services shortfall

At its Sept. 15 meeting, the Washington County Council approved an additional appropriation of $150,000 for bituminous work and moved forward an additional appropriation of $74,805.77 for the Adult Protective Services fund to repay a negative balance following the close of a grant on June 30, 2025. Councilmember Brad Gilbert made the motion to approve the $150,000 bituminous appropriation; Councilmember Andrew Davisson seconded and the motion passed.
