Fortuna council adopts update to animal-control enforcement and penalties

A resident, Irbil Garrison, asked the council to clarify whether the ordinance related to a separate investigation concerning the Miranda facility; Chief Eberhardt and staff clarified the ordinance is unrelated to that investigation and instead focuses on streamlining enforcement for routine registration and control issues. The council conducted the second reading by title and adopted the ordinance unanimously.
