"I've had a few people call me and it's affected me personally," one participant said, urging the council to consider options to keep trash out of the area. Members suggested supervised opening hours, posting limited hours or paying someone to monitor the site for a few hours twice a month.
Alan, the town manager, acknowledged the problem and said staff would reexamine past approaches and bring information back to the council. "I will put that on my list and definitely work on that," Alan said, offering to report at the next meeting if the council wants an update.
