Kat Silva, operations project manager in the delivery and operations division, opened the meeting and handed the presentation to Tova, who walked members through example templates for projects in design and planning. Tova said the templates include project overviews, scope, project finances, risk registers and a proposed ‘‘what changed since last report’’ callout. "The committed project funding is in excess of what we're seeing what we're expecting the cost to fully complete the project," Tova said while illustrating the finance section.

Members asked for clearer explanations for nontechnical audiences. Chair Brown, new to the Continuous Improvement Advisory Committee (CIAC), asked whether legislators will understand the technical format and urged clearer funding labels; Tova proposed adding a glossary and points of contact in the report to answer follow-up questions. The committee agreed staff will present a first full iteration of the quarterly report at the next CIAC meeting and extend that meeting to two hours to allow discussion and feedback.
