Chief Estalos said water pressure and hydrant spacing outside the village limited firefighting effectiveness at the apartment fire, describing a 1,300‑foot hose lay and noting, "With 60 PSI coming out of that hydrant, it's not gonna make it to that fire truck." He said the department will work with the Cicero Fire Department and Aqua to assess pressure and hydrant placement to better protect residents.
